This rice is most use everywhere in Japan and Korea for their short and sticky glutinous texture. Thai people are well known them as “Japanese rice”. Their short grains and fragrant are suit to Japanese food especially in making sushi. They are use in Japanese restaurants throughout Thailand and aboard. When cooked they are soft and a bit sticky which cannot go wrong with raw fish, Japanese food or Korean food.
